This is so well written! The Pallywood slur drives me crazy; I cannot imagine having a rational conversation with anyone who espouses it.

Thank you, I appreciate it!

The Pallywood Conspiracy is pretty common among German zionists of essentially all political affiliations. I honestly refuse to even engage with it at this point. These people live in a separate reality they need to snap out of before even a discussion makes sense.

Incredible work friend. I was unaware of the appalling Pallywood conspiracy, but it’s wretched. It makes sense when you find out that zionism is rooted in national socialism why the Israeli terror state has many similarities to nazi Germany.

Two states comfortable with using any lies to portray their “enemy” as subhuman. Israel is, and always has been, built on lies and false narratives to spread their imperialistic and colonial goals. We see what the truth is, we see what they are doing to the Palestinians, and we see that Israel will fall from the weight of its lies.

Palestine will be free!

the Pallywood conspiracy seems an awful lot like the conspiracies pushed about mass shooters in america—like the Parkland shooting. it helps people avoid the cognitive dissonance they feel when confronted with evidence of the evil done by the thing they support (in the case of america, Guns, and for zionists, the IOF).

this article is amazing. my favorite so far. thank you 🙏🏼.

'Anyone who stands against Zionism in any way whatsoever is framed as an existential enemy...'

The projected, extreme victim mentality by Israel is just insane and utterly unrealistic!

Sadly, its leaders have successfully managed to brainwash their own citizens and others around the world to fully embrace this toxic victim mentality and vehemently defend the Zionist regime's atrocities.

Thank you, Lukas. As Mary stated, you write really well! In any case, I appreciate how you point out the irrationality and ambiguity in fascist thought; the enemy is both weak and powerful, powerful, so the enemy must be persecuted and weak, which means the persecution can be successful.

Awesome article mate. You should take a look into the Dark Enlightenment/neoreactionary movement that appears to be underlying much of the resurgence of fascism in the Western imperial core. An article on that one would be cool to see.

Thank you for reading!

I’ve actually been playing with a similar idea, but I’m still not sure where to really approach that from. I generally think that petit-bourgeois class interests still play the core role, but the expression is just extremely incoherent because there is no real ‘mass movement’ to attach themselves to—aside from online subculture, which isn’t the same dynamic.

The most interesting part to me is probably that they all pretend / play-act as hyper-capitalist ‘libertarians’ (and in the end, it doesn’t really matter if those beliefs or genuine or not). Maybe that is just a pure expression of their actual nature—stooges for monopoly capital.

There’s something in there I think, if I let it cook a bit longer.

Fantastic piece. Zionism as schizophrenia is something I'm going to have to think more about - when I have the headspace, anyway, which is getting more and more fleeting as things become ever wilder out here on planet Trump. But I'm heartened that you also see Israel to be "a terrible, brittle thing armed to the teeth but built on shattered foundations" - here's to the fortress itself collapsing very soon! 🙏

Well argued article but I do wonder if some credit for the core idea and central arguments is due to BadEmpanada on YouTube ? Feels a little bit stolen ngl
